We are currently recruiting within the Calibration Laboratory for an Instrument Calibration Technician.

The calibration laboratory at TDC provides electrical, pressure, temperature, torque and dimensional calibration services to a wide variety of customers.

We require key personnel with experience in some or all of these fields.

 

Experience:

Experience in Electrical Calibration and Pressure Measurement & Calibration.

 

Qualifications:

Relevant Electrical/Electronic qualification desired.

 

This is a permanent, full time role based at our main site in Bucksburn, Aberdeen.

Mechanical Engineer

The ideal candidate will have completed a recognised apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline. Experience and technical knowledge in the maintenance and repair of mechanical and rotational equipment, including pumps, gear boxes and various mechanical applications is also required. Knowledge in hydraulics and pneumatics is advantageous.

Frequent travelling in and around the local area is necessary, therefore a current UK driving licence would be desired.

Sales Ledger Administrator

We are currently recruiting within our Accounts Department for a Sales Ledger Administrator.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in Sage Line 50 and Cash Book experience is desirable. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications is essential and in addition, the ability to work on their own initiative, be self-motivated and disciplined.

The main duties of this position are to process and input invoices onto Sage system, and assist with other general accounts or administration activities when requested by management.

 

This role is full time and based at our main offices in Bucksburn, Aberdeen.

Maintenance Electrician

We are currently recruiting within the Electrical Department for a Maintenance Electrician.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Experienced in all aspects of Industrial Electrical Maintenance and fault finding,

       including equipment designed for use within potentially hazardous atmospheres

  • Experienced in the installation of three phase and single-phase circuits/equipment

  • The ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawings

  • Work on your own initiative and good communication skills are essential

 

Experience:

  • Fault finding, installation and electrical maintenance with a proven track record within

       the industry

  • Marine wiring and control circuit installation or fault-finding experience advantageous

  • Knowledge and experience of circuit breakers, generators, and PLC control systems

       also preferred

  • Control panel and systems wiring, fault finding, and installation expertise

  • Hazardous area equipment inspection and maintenance experience, CompEx 

       Ex01 – 04 levels

 

Qualifications:

  • Fully time served and qualified in relevant electrical discipline

  • BS 7671 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations

  • Minimum ONC or NVQ/SVQ Level 3 qualified

  • CompEx Certification

 

This is a permanent, full time role based in Aberdeen with frequent travelling in and around the local area as necessary.  A company vehicle will be provided to the successful applicant. Therefore, applicants must hold a current UK driving licence.

Marine Electronics Engineer

We are currently recruiting within our Marine Electronics Department for a Marine Electronics Engineer. 

 

Key Requirements:

  • Carry out all Marine Electronic installations and maintenance effectively on a wide range of equipment including ratio and satellite communications, VHF, radar and navigational aids in accordance with accepted trade practice. 

  • Work on your own initiative and good communication skills are essential.

 

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Maintenance and Service background in an Electrical and Electronic environment

  • GOC and Offshore certification desirable
