We are currently recruiting within the Electrical Department for a Maintenance Electrician.
This is a permanent, full time role based in Aberdeen with frequent travelling in and around the local area as necessary. A company vehicle will be provided to the successful applicant. Therefore, applicants must hold a current UK driving licence.
Key Requirements:
Experienced in all aspects of Industrial Electrical Maintenance and fault finding, including equipment designed for use within potentially hazardous atmospheres
Experienced in the installation of three phase and single-phase circuits/equipment
The ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawings
Work on your own initiative and good communication skills are essential
Experience:
Fault finding, installation and electrical maintenance with a proven track record within the industry
Marine wiring and control circuit installation or fault-finding experience advantageous
Knowledge and experience of circuit breakers, generators, and PLC control systems also preferred
Control panel and systems wiring, fault finding, and installation expertise
Hazardous area equipment inspection and maintenance experience, CompEx Ex01 – 04 levels
Experience on Water and Waste Treatments Sites advantageous
Qualifications:
Fully time served and qualified in relevant electrical discipline
BS 7671 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
Minimum ONC or NVQ/SVQ Level 3 qualified
CompEx Certification
Valid ECS Card advantageous
